Steve Jones

President

Steve lives in Port Credit and has been a Mississauga resident for over 40 years. Steve is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in Financial Studies and Economics. He is known as a thought leader in employment, recruitment and human resource. Steve has helped influence Ontario employment standards and safety legislation and helps promotes ethical employment practices for both employers and employees.

 

Steve has served several terms as President of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services. He has been recognized as Canadian volunteer of the year by the Attorney General of Canada. Steve is Past President of Ontario Track 3 Association for Disabled Children and has served as a member of the Executive Health & Safety Leadership Charter with the Conference Board of Canada.

Madison Jones

Director of Care

Madison Jones is a graduate of the University of Toronto Mississauga in Neurobiology. Madison is responsible for managing and coordinating service teams for the recruitment and selection of caregivers and nurses with In-Home Assisted Living Inc. She is an expert with a specialization in serving people with disabilities, mobility challenges and senior care involving Alzheimer's disease, dementias and seniors’ mental health issues.

 

Madison has extensive experience in marine biology and deep-sea diving involving ecological research. She also rounds out her talents as a singer and stage performer.

 

Madison also is known for her active volunteerism with Christmas charities, ski instructor for children with disabilities and hospital foundations. She the President of the Ontario Track 3 Association for Children with Disabilities, is a certified adaptive ski course conductor and has co-chaired the Ontario Track 3 Association for Disabled Children training and certification committee.

 

Madison lead our teams through the Covid crisis with a deep understanding of infectious disease combined with her expertise in training and health standards.

Lorri Sumner

Senior Care Manager

Lorri Sumner is a highly respected Senior Care Manager in the Toronto Region, renowned for her professionalism, deep empathy, and unwavering reliability. With 27 years of dedicated collaboration alongside Steve Jones, Lorri Sumner has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and experience in coordinating care plans and assembling teams tailored to the unique needs, personalities, and schedules of every family.

 

Her commitment to excellence and continuity of service has earned the trust and confidence of countless clients, many of whom return to her for support as their families grow and change. Madison Skobel

Senior Care Manager

With over nine years of dedicated service at In-Home Assisted Living, Madison Skobel exemplifies the highest standards of care, skill, and commitment. As a lifelong resident of Etobicoke and Toronto and a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, Madison Skobel brings both local insight and professional expertise to every family she supports.

 

A passionate advocate for children with disabilities and aging seniors, Madison Skobel is deeply committed to helping clients live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Her leadership extends beyond her professional role—she is a regular participant and fundraiser in the annual Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer, and volunteers at Camp Ooch and Campfire Circle, supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer.

 

With more than a decade of volunteer experience with Ontario Track 3 as a ski instructor for children with disabilities, Madison Skobel understands the importance of empathy, encouragement, and creating joyful experiences for those in her care.

As an expert recruiter, care coordinator, and team leader, her professionalism and compassion are reflected in the lasting relationships she builds with clients and caregivers alike. Michelle Laub

Senior Care Manager - Mississauga and Peel Region

Mahin Toodeh

Senior Case Manager - Mississauga and Brampton

Mahin Toodeh is a registered foreign Nurse and Certified Community Support Worker, bringing over two decades of medical experience to her role at In-Home Assisted Living. Her extensive background in both hospital and community settings gives her a deep understanding of every client’s medical condition and need.

 

With more than five years of dedicated service at In-Home Assisted Living, Mahin Toodeh is known for her exceptional commitment to client service and satisfaction. She has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to respond swiftly to emergencies, expertly coordinating teams of skilled caregivers and nurses to deliver timely, high-quality care. Her talent for attracting and retaining top-tier caregivers is a tremendous asset to the organization.

 

Responsible for care coordination in the Mississauga and Brampton areas, Mahin Toodeh has also successfully built teams that serve Vaughan, including Woodbridge, Kind City, and Richmond Hill.

At In-Home Assisted Living, our team of caregivers and nurses is the foundation of our commitment to exceptional care. Every individual who provides services on behalf of our organization is carefully screened, interviewed, reference-checked, and has their credentials verified to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and trust.

 

We are proud to employ our caregivers and nurses directly—never as independent contractors. This means every team member receives regular pay, vacation and public holiday pay, and a T4 for Revenue Canada reporting. Our employees are eligible for Canada Pension Plan, Employment Insurance, Workers Compensation, and their earnings contribute to Employers Health Tax for OHIP coverage.

 

In-Home Assisted Living is fully licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Labour and strictly adheres to all employment laws and standards, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights, Workplace Health and Safety, and Privacy Laws.
