Our History

In 2013, after three decades of leading organizations that served corporations, governments, hospitals, and healthcare facilities, Steve Jones chose to dedicate his experience to something closer to his heart—helping families navigate the challenges that come with disability, illness, and aging.

Joined by his lifelong friend and business partner, Jeff Durish, the two shared a simple but powerful vision: to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives through care that feels personal, professional, and deeply human. Together, they founded In-Home Assisted Living Inc.

What began as a heartfelt mission quickly grew into a trusted, respected network. By joining a franchise system and collaborating with other like-minded owners, In-Home Assisted Living expanded to support not only families, but also hospitals, long-term care facilities, insurance companies, and healthcare organizations. Their focus on quality recruitment, caregiver support, and compassionate service has helped the company become an employer of choice for hundreds of dedicated caregivers and nurses.

Today, In-Home Assisted Living stands as a pillar of trust for countless families. From hospital bedside assistance to personalized in-home care, clients know they can depend on a team that treats every individual with dignity, empathy, and respect.

For Steve Jones, this work is deeply personal.
