In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is a Canadian home care service provider and hospital staffing company with a dedication and commitment to making a meaningful difference for people with medical challenges arising from illness, injury, disability, and aging.  We focus on matching the right caregivers, with the right skills, with the best schedules, to help improve every client’s recovery, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

The complexities of long-term illness and continual care are often stressful, even overwhelming for family caregivers. There's a lot to manage. It's important to understand the difference between caregiving and caring.

We help people who are both Caregiving and Caring. Caregiving is the service we provide. Caregivers perform the tasks that requires timeliness, patience, skills, and resources. Our caregivers free up family members and friends to focus on their loved one’s emotional well-being. Caring is always rooted in love. We take on the caregiver work, giving you more time to care.

Our History

In 2013, after 30 years of leadership in businesses providing services to corporations, governments and facilities like hospitals and healthcare units, Steve Jones turned his focus to helping families deal with the challenges arising from disabilities, illness, and aging. 

Together with his life-long friend and business partner Jeff Durish, Steve and Jeff combined their extensive business experience and skills with their desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people and created In-Home Assisted Living Inc. 

In-home Assisted Living Inc. joined a franchise system and partnered with other like-minded franchise owners. The business grew to include professional recruitment, retention and services for hospitals, long-term care facilities, insurance companies and other healthcare providers. 

Today, In-home Assisted Living is a highly respected employer of hundreds of caregivers and nurses. Countless patients and their families have come to rely upon the professional team at In-Home Assisted Living to help with everything from hospital bedside support to a full range of medical and non-medical services in their home. 

Steve Jones, is known for his commitment to helping people and his community. He has personally experienced caring for family members with complex health and medical challenges and thousands of families with specialty home care needs. Steve devotes his talents and efforts to improving the quality of life for others with similar challenges. Steve is a proud and active owner of In-Home Assisted Living Inc. operating in the Greater Toronto, Area including Toronto, Etobicoke, East York, North York, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brampton, Richmond Hill, Cobourg, and Belleville.
