DEMENTIA & ALZHEIMER'S CARE

Better dementia and Alzheimer's care

Watching a loved one experience cognitive or memory impairment and decline is devastating for family members. It takes a special person to step in and help ease  the burden of caregiving, while ensuring the patient is assisted and stimulated in a safe and comforting home environment.

In-Home Assisted Living takes pride in placing that kind of person. Our specialized dementia caregiving staff include Personal Support Workers (PSW) and nurse professionals who respond with patience, empathy, experience, and skill.

Depending on the level of care required, we offer both in-home and live-in caregiving,  with special attention given to:

  • Help with morning and evening routines: Getting up and dressed and ready for the day and getting ready for bed at night
  • Help with administering and monitoring of medications, at the prescribed times
  • and dosage
  • Help with daily hygiene, including toileting and bathing
  • Help with meal preparation and eating supervision
  • Help with daily exercise, safe mobility, transfers, and activities
  • Help with housekeeping, including cleaning, dishes, linens and laundry
  • Help with scheduling, planning, and appointment escorts
  • Help with safety supervision, including wandering, household appliances and advocacy

The caregiver services offer by In-Home Assisted Living will help your loved one retain their independence with dignity, provide companionship, and ensure the best possible health and safety within the comfort of the familiar family home.
